Coaching Staff Additions
Durso and Beninati Join Staff

The Rapids are very pleased to announce the addition of Bo Durso and Rino Beninati to the coaching staff.

Bo Durso has led the Bay State Brats program to great success over the past two decades.  Bo's Brats teams have won over 80% of their games with over 600 career wins and have won numerous championships at both the state and national levels.  Bo has helped numerous girls fulfill their dream of playing college softball.

Rino Beninati has coached at Woodbury Middle School in Salem, New Hampshire for the past 33 years, compiling a record of 371-37 and winning 23 Division 1 Tri-County League championships during his tenure.  Rino's objective in running one of the most successful middle school programs in New England is to prepare players to excel at the high school level.

Welcome to Mass Rapids Softball, Bo and Rino!

Rapids Program Expansion

The Word is Out!

The best kept secret in high-end New England travel softball is a secret no longer!  The program has been around for 18 years, operating as an elite 18U Gold team playing a national schedule for the past decade.  This "boutique" team, which has a tremendous track record of getting players to the college level, will be expanding to younger age levels for the 2016-17 season.

The 18U Gold team will play its usual competitive showcase schedule primarily in the Mid-Atlantic with a few further trips, while the younger teams will play a challenging schedule primarily in New England with occasional travel to select events beyond New England possible.

For more information about the program, contact Mike Lavallee (cmrapids@aol.com; 508-688-2615) for 18U or Eric Marino (ericmarino718@icloud.com; 603-327-1067) for 14U and below.
